Something I personally liked is that the menu isn’t too big—it gives me the impression that the food is fresher. The restaurant is in a small mall, so it has free parking. The staff was average, but the food arrived quickly. I do recommend this place.

Honestly being Mexican myself this restaurant definitely reminds me of my home cooked meals growing up sure it’s texmex style but they have great authentic food as well, everything was fantastic personally the chimichanga de asada was phenomenal great green chile sauce and asada flavor which is apparently hard to find in casual Mexican restaurants across Colorado but I was pleasantly impressed with the food here safe to say it’s a great place to stop by for a bite or any special occasion.
Tacos were generous sizes and delicious. Fajitas really good! Chips and salsa could use some work.
Found Los Marcelos while Google searching for authentic Mexican food, and this came up. Walked in and we were served right away with a welcoming and inviting greeting. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was just the right touch and the service was very attentive. Highly recommend if you are in Golden Colorado.
Good classic mexican. Their salsa is is just right, not too spicy, but spicy enough. Great value
This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant! We came in after a 4 hour hike and were famished. That had chips and salsa at our table before we even had a chance to look at the menus and the drinks were shortly behind. The guacamole was very smooth and fresh and delicious. The carnitas was very tender and juicy. The refried beans tasted fresh and weren’t as greasy as I’m used to. Prices are average. Service was perfect. Highly recommend!
